Sydney Psychologist for Women · In Clinics, At Home & Telehealth
You're not broken. You're just exhausted from carrying it all alone.
I'm Victoria Criniti, a Sydney psychologist who works exclusively with women. If you're carrying anxiety, low mood, relationship pain, or just a quiet sense that you've lost yourself somewhere along the way, you don't have to keep managing alone.

I know how long you've been doing this alone.
You don't need a crisis to call me. You just need to be tired enough of managing by yourself.
Maybe it's the anxiety that starts on Sunday and doesn't stop. Maybe it's the relationship that keeps replaying the same argument. Maybe you've just slowly forgotten who you are outside of everything you carry for everyone else.
You don't have to have the words for it yet. That's what our first session is for. My job is to understand you, not the other way around.
Your Space. Your Pace.
What I work with
If you see yourself in any of these, you're in the right place.
If your mind runs at full volume even when everything looks fine, you're not alone in that. We'll work to understand what's driving your anxiety and help you respond to it differently, so it stops calling the shots.
That flat, heavy feeling that makes even small things feel impossible. This includes postnatal depression and the emotional emptiness that follows major life changes. You don't have to wait until it gets worse to reach out.
Something keeps going wrong in the relationships that matter most. Whether you're navigating a separation, a difficult partnership, or just wondering why connection keeps feeling so hard, we'll work to understand where those patterns come from.
For women who've quietly lost track of who they are outside of what everyone else needs. This is about building a more honest, kinder relationship with yourself.
If you feel things intensely and have been told you're too much, I take that seriously. Using DBT, we'll build practical skills for managing intense emotions alongside genuine psychological understanding.
For neurodivergent women, including those dismissed or misdiagnosed for years. If you're only now starting to understand your own neurotype, your experience will be taken seriously here from the very first session.
Whether it's something that happened once or something you've been carrying for years, trauma has a way of staying in the body long after the event is over. We work at your pace, using evidence-based approaches to help you process what happened so it stops running the show.
We'll build insight and practical strategies around your mood cycles, so that life can start to work with you rather than against you.

I built Mind Sanctuary because I kept seeing the same thing: capable, caring women coming to me years after they should have, having talked themselves out of needing support for too long.
I started my career working with at-risk teenagers and children in out-of-home care. That work shaped everything, especially my deep belief in attachment theory as a lens for understanding why we relate, react, and protect ourselves the way we do.
Flexible appointments including evenings, because you shouldn't have to take a sick day to take care of your mental health. A practice only for women, because your experience deserves more than a generic approach. A space where you can show up exactly as you are. Your Space. Your Pace.
Why Mind Sanctuary
I designed this practice around your life.
Flexible Hours
I offer morning, daytime, and evening appointments so you can get support without rearranging your life. Available in-person at Leichhardt (2040) and Camden (2570), or as home and community visits by arrangement, or via Telehealth anywhere in Australia.
Built for women
I work exclusively with adult women. Not because I have to. Because I chose to. Your experience is specific, and how I work with you will be too.
No referral needed
You can book directly without a GP referral. If you have a Mental Health Care Plan, Medicare rebates may apply. Call us and we'll walk you through it.
Here's how we start
Tell me a little about what's going on
Fill in the form or call directly. Just tell me what's been happening and how you'd like to connect.
We'll call you within 2 hours
We'll arrange your appointment and answer any questions. You're not committing to anything yet.
We meet. Just a conversation.
Your first session is a conversation about you, your story, and what you'd like to feel differently. That's it.
Whenever you're ready, I'm here.
You don't have to feel ready. I'm here either way, without judgement, at a time that fits your life. Your Space. Your Pace.
You're not just another appointment. You're why I built this.
Many of my clients waited a long time before they called. You don't need a referral, a diagnosis, or the right words. Coming here after a separation, a long stretch of not feeling like yourself, or simply the weight of holding everything together. That is exactly the right reason.
I draw on attachment theory, CBT, ACT, and DBT, adapted to who you actually are rather than applied as a formula.
"I'm not seeing a referral or a diagnosis. I'm seeing you. That's where we begin."

I aim to offer first appointments within 1 to 2 weeks of your enquiry. Once you reach out, we'll confirm a time that works for your life. Telehealth can often be arranged sooner.
Yes, completely. Everything discussed in our sessions is strictly confidential and protected by law. I follow the Australian Psychological Society's Code of Ethics. There are very limited exceptions, such as immediate risk of harm to yourself or others. I'll explain these clearly in your first session so there are no surprises.
Yes, and it's something I care about deeply. I have a particular interest in working with women who have ADHD or autism, including those who've only recently received a diagnosis or have been managing undiagnosed for years. If you've been dismissed by previous practitioners, told it was just anxiety, or spent years wondering whether something has been overlooked, I want you to know: your experience will be taken seriously here, from the very first session.
Yes. I see clients via secure video or phone call anywhere in Australia. All you need is a device and a private space. The same Medicare rebates apply to Telehealth as to in-person sessions. Many of my clients prefer the flexibility, particularly for evening appointments.
No. Mind Sanctuary is not a crisis or emergency service. If you or someone you know needs immediate support, please contact Lifeline on 13 11 14, the NSW Mental Health Line on 1800 011 511, or call 000 in an emergency. For everything else, I'm here.
Take the first step. I'll take it from there.
You don't need to have it figured out. Just reach out and we'll arrange a time that actually works for your life.
